Wind Turbine Site Survey

During the site visit our site surveyors will come to visit you to discuss the options open to you for the generation of renewable energy on your site. They will go through the options and the pro’s and con’s of each in line with your personal circumstances and situation. They will undertake a full site walk with you to identify suitable potential sitings for turbine/Solar PV locations.

As well as personal preference, there are a number of different things to consider when looking at the suitability of a turbine or Solar PV array on site. For example: 

• Planning/environmental considerations
• Energy capture
• Cable length to connection
• Delivery access
• Installation access

If your site is suitable for renewable energy production and you decide you would like to proceed, then following site survey, the next step is for us to apply to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for permission to connect to the National Grid and submit a planning application. We take care of all of this for you as part of our unique package.
